​Welcome to the Writing Center of Bayreuth University!

At the Writing Center we support you as students and PhD-students of Bayreuth University with all questions you might have concerning academic writing. Amongst other things we offer individual consultations and workshops about academic writing. All our services also take place during the semester break and are free of charge!

If you are an instructor you can benefit from our services, too: Invite us to one of your lectures or seminars, let us train your tutors concerning the basics of writing didactics and enjoy the perks of our wide range of methods.

We are happy to support you with our individual writing consultations. These take place via ZOOM or in person and help you with all the questions you might have surrounding your writing project. Come see us and get individual and constructive feedback to your texts as well as tips concerning getting started with writing, keeping on track with writing and finishing up writing.

A warm invitation to our workshops in the winter semester 2023. Like every semester we have prepared a well-rounded collection of workshops surrounding academic writing in English and in German. Our workshops are suitable for writers of all levels and for students and PhD-students of all faculties. We are looking forward to meeting you!
